清十八世紀碧玉雕祝壽圖筆筒

碧玉質，直筒形，淺圈足。外壁高浮雕壑深林密，青嶂翠壁，壽石浮雲，流水仙山，飛瀑高台，笆蕉樹旁仙果置於石台之上，兩仙翁或捧如意，或揖手相迎童子獻果。全器構圖繁密，層次清晰，雕刻生動，為清十八世紀碧玉筆筒之精品佳作。

當時製作的碧玉筆筒紋飾多雕文人雅事、仙侶人物，如北京故宮博物院、臺北故宮博物院藏品均有西園雅集、竹溪六逸、竹林七賢、石室藏書等題材玉雕器，參見1995年香港出版故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集《玉器．下》，圖版168-170號；1997年台北出版《宮庭之雅—清代仿古及畫意玉器特展圖錄》，圖版55-56號。

此筆筒源自英國溫頓家族收藏。2008年12月3日於香港佳士得拍賣，拍品2602號。

A very similar brush pot from the collection of Sir J. Buchanan-Jardine was included in the 1935-1936 International Exhibition of Chinese Art, Royal Academy of Arts, London, and is illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 2855 and may have been an influencing factor in the Vint Family's decision to acquire the present piece.
