A FINE WHITE JADE RUYI
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Carved in shallow relief on the head of the ruyi with a stylised Shou character surrounded by four Buddhist Emblems. The remaining four emblems are carved on the gracefully arched shaft which ends with a ruyi-head terminal. The jade is of semi-translucent tone with a light celadon tinge.
