A WHITE JADE 'CHILONG' CUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
Supported on a splayed foot, the cup is carved in low relief to the body depicting lingzhi stems emerging from rockwork, flanked by a pair of chilong dragons on each side. The C-shaped handles are carved in the form of chilong dragons. The white stone has minor russet and dark inclusions and milky speckling.
