AN AGATE BELT HOOK AND BUCKLE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
Of rectangular shape, the belt hook terminates at one end with an upturned dragon head, the body is carved and adorned with cloud-scrolls. The pattern repeats on the body of the belt buckle. The undersides of the hook and buckle are carved with circular discs incised with shou characters for attachment.
