Each female figure is standing on a stepped rectangular pedestal adorned with upright plantain leaves, dressed in finely detailed layered garments below a sash tied at the waist over a multi-coloured pleated skirt. Their faces are painted to provide gentle expressions. Both figures are wearing elaborate suspended earrings, diadems and coifs set with a gilt dragon pin.
