With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 13th June 2007, additional case back, setting pin, instruction manual, product literature, leather envelope, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

Fresh to the market, the present reference 5016 impresses by its sharp case proportions, well defined fluted lugs, crisp hallmarks and untouched dial most evident to the beholders eye.

Introduced in 1994, reference 5016 was produced in very small numbers. In fact, a detailed research reveals that no more than 5 examples with a silvered dial have appeared at auction to date.

Reference 5016 is the second most complicated wristwatch ever produced by the firm and is only surpassed by the Sky Moon Tourbillon, the reference 5002. The two references are the only tourbillon wristwatches with both the Geneva Seal Hallmark and C.O.S.C certificate. Of particular note is the position of the tourbillon escapement, which is placed on the same rotational axis as the balance and fourth wheel, an extremely difficult configuration that gives the best result from the tourbillon principle. And like all Patek Philippe minute repeaters, the reference 5016 is distinguished by the unrivalled clarity and purity of its chimes.

Reference 5016 was discontinued in 2010 and replaced by reference 5216.
