With retailer's Certificate of Identity and Guarantee dated 26 June 1963, sales tag and fitted pouch. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1965 and its subsequent sale on 8 March 1966.

Belonging to the "ricochet" collection, reference 789 was produced over a period of two years in the early 1960s and was manufactured in yellow or white gold only, presented in different case textures. According to our research, the present lot is one of only 8 examples to have come up to auction to date. The present "ricochet" watch is furthermore in overall excellent condition.
