With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with 30 baguette diamonds weighing approx. 3.15 cts. in 1972 and its subsequent sale on 22 December 1972. Furthermore delivered with a fitted presentation box.

Reference 3540 was manufactured from 1968 to 1976. A detailed count reveals that less than 5 examples of this reference have appeared at auction to date. Fresh to the market, the present lot is furthermore in overall excellent condition.
