Lot Essay

Xu Xi was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. He is renowned for his impressionistic scenery, cityscape, and floral paintings. In 1965, he graduated from the Zhejiang Fine Arts Academy. He was appointed as the Art Editor at the People' s Fine Art Publishing House. He moved to New York in 1989, and continued his artistic career.
