Représenté debout sur un socle lotiforme placé sur une base carrée, la main droite en abhayamudra, les mains supérieures tenant le cakra et le shanka, vêtu d'un dhoti, paré de bijoux, le visage serein, les yeux en amande, coiffé d'un kiritamakuta ; un doigt cassé et un élément manquant

This bronze figure was a gift from Thomas Aroul to Yvonne Marcelle Bonvin, Louis Bonvin's wife, Governor of French establishments in Pondicherry, India, between 1938-1945
