An ivory and gilt brass singing bird box
Possibly French, Dieppe, late 19th Century
The rectangular box on small baluster feet, decorated with gallant scenes, the lid with two putti opening to reveal a pierced foliate fiels and hatch for the bird, the bird with iridescent plumage
13.9 cm. wide
