Letters patent as Lord Protector, Westminster, 10 December 1657, appointing John Leigh of Booths as Sheriff of Cheshire, on vellum, 120 x 368mm [and] letters patent of Richard Cromwell as Lord Protector, 6 September 1658, to the same effect; each mounted with an impression of the Great Seal in brown wax (minor rodent damage at right margin of Oliver Cromwell document, seal detached), framed and glazed.
