Fourth revised and augmented edition of Ruscelli's Ptolemy, with FIVE ENTIRELY NEW MAPS, INCLUDING ONE OF THE AMERICAS. Many of the other maps that previously appeared in the 1561, 1562, 1564 and 1574 editions are here found reworked with the addition of new toponyms and figures of ships, fishes, etc. This is the second issue of this edition, the BL possessing a copy with a title dated 1598.
