A SWISS QUARTER-STRIKING MUSICAL ORGAN EBONY AND BRASS BOULLE MARQUETRY BRACKET CLOCK

The 15½ in. 25-piece cartouche dial with finely pierced hands and leaf-cast bezel, square plated two train quarter repeating movement with verge escapement, quarter repeating on two bells, the strike work mounted on the back plate, releasing the organ on the hour, massive organ movement in the base with twin barrels and tandem winding twin fusees, pinned wood barrel playing eight airs on seventeen pipes and a pair of bellows, inlaid with foliate brass design, outlined in rococo C-scroll, shell and leaf mounted, the front with an allegorical figure and baby dragon mask, concave cresting surmounted by an associated ormolu figure of Charles Martel called 'Martel the Hammer'
