In George I style, each vase form, on a stepped and gadrooned circular base, the lower body applied with strapwork, with a center molded band and cast scroll handles, the domed cover with conforming decoration and baluster finial, each on a circular ebonized wooden stand, the large stand and one small stand with silver plaques with engraved inscriptions, each marked on cover and under base, Britannia standard
The large cup and cover 15¾ in. (40 cm.) high on base; 174 oz. (5,420 gr.) weighable silver (6)

The inscriptions on the wooden bases list the names of the winners of the Challenge Cup at the Winter Harbor Yacht Club, Winter Island Maine, from 1924-1952.
