The ivory ground densely worked with scrolling foliage and flowers, embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads with a central medallion containing a king and queen in Chinoiserie style dress escorted by a boy carrying a parasol, the field with floral sprays, exotic animals, birds and insects, a hillocky ground at either end
