Lot Essay

Abbott's 1791 sketching tour of Scotland, the Lake District, Lancashire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire was his only ambitious excursion beyond the west of England. Kenmore lies at the northern end of Loch Tay in the Grampian Mountains.
