The snakeskin-textured sides chased with foliage and set with numerous 16th Century Prussian coins, base set with a large medallion, base with zig-zag assay scrape, prick-dot engraved P. 1661 and weight W:30 7/8 L, the rim engraved at a later date with an English boar's head crest for Nisbet, gilt interior, the base not gilded
