A LATE 18TH CENTURY SWISS GOLD AND ENAMEL PAIRCASE POCKET WATCH
The signed white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute ring, within half-pearl bezel, the case reverse with painted Swiss enamel scene depicting a courting couple within gilt-painted classical canopy, the band chased in three colour gold, the outer case decorated with red pique enamel, the gilt movement with foliate pierced bridge-cock and three arm balance wheel, signed Fres, Viss & Menu, repeated on the dial. Circa 1790, case diameter 55mm
