EUROPEAN, EARLY 19TH CENTURY AND LATER
Comprising: two 1860s handkerchiefs, embroidered with scrolling floral vines and sprays, the borders of fine drawn threadwork and lace; a large handkerchief and two smaller examples, all embroidered in red and blue silks with gentleman, ladies and commedia dell'arte to the corners, the two smaller with the name 'Mary' embroidered to one corner and with scalloped edges, all first quarter 19th century; the bonnet, 1840s, possibly Ayrshire work with embroidered crown and lace trim; together with a ball of maroon waxed thread
