Lot Essay

These mirrors are similar in style to a pair carved by the famous Dublin firm of Francis and John Brooker circa 1750, Glin Castle, Co. Limerick. See The Knight of Glin and James Peill, Irish Furniture, Yale University Press, 2007, p. 140-141.
