CASE: the arched case surmounted by a vase issuing fruit flanked by scrolls joined by garland swags with bunches of grape finials above a circular glazed door and hinged door opening to reveal two diaper-chased drawers, flanked by fluted columns and further flanked by festooned corbels, the rear with circular mirrored door above a mirrored panel, all above an outset conforming plinth fitted with a central door and further outset conforming base, all embellished with foliate and scrolled mounts, on turned toupie feet DIAL: 5 in. diameter white enamel (restored) with outer concentric date ring, pierced and engraved gilt hands, blued steel calendar hand MOVEMENT: twin barrels with anchor escapement, silk suspension and countwheel strike to bell; pendulum, winding key, regulation key
