A pair of Lloyd-of-Shelton type lion and lamb groups
typically modelled, recumbent, facing left and right, with woolly manes, two lambs at their sides, on square-section bases with drum- shaped ends, sparsely coloured and gilt -- 4¾in. (12cm.) wide, circa 1840 (some minor chips, wear and staining)
