of traditional type, modelled seated with a foaming jug of ale inscribed ALE balanced on one knee above a base with canted corners, wearing a black tricorn, light green coat with orange cuffs, black breeches, the base sponged in black -- 9¾in. (24.5cm.) high, early 19th century (hairline cracks to base, flaking to enamels)
