A pair of models of pipe-smoking dogs
seated, with separated forepaws, facing left and right, each with a pipe in the corner of their jaws, moulded and gilt with collars, enriched with black patches, on shaped oval bases moulded with scrolls and enriched in turquoise and green -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high, mid 19th century (both with some hairline cracks and slight wear)
