the complete set of thirty-three engravings plus forty-three woodcuts in gray as chapter headings, in- and hors-texte, text in French, and justification, on Malacca Ancien and Richard de Bas, copy 83 of 280 (there were also 26 artist's proof copies lettered A-Z), including a pencil drawing and the suite of woodcuts on Malacca, each with full margins, occasional pale offsetting, occasional pinpoint foxing at the sheet edges, otherwise in very good condition, loose (as issued), paper wrappers and paper-covered boards with parchment spine, slipcase (split along the spine). 18¼ x 14 in. (460 x 350 mm.)
