Levels: Ten into neck, two base of neck. Two slighlty nicked capsules.
"The '83 Pichon Lalande is lovely, but this bottle at least was fully mature. The nose showed a profusion of tertiary aromas such as forest floor, cedar, and struck flint that obscured the curranty fruit character. On the palate the wine was still holding together, but showing its age, with little noticeable structure and an elegantly harmonious finish." CC, August 2009
