"The '90 La Mission was an outstanding wine, yet perhaps atypical for the property, with a rich almost smoky nose of really ripe fig and blackberry fruit on the nose and a lush, almost creamy texture on the palate with plenty of silky-textured tannins in reserve. This is a wine that is immensely pleasurable to drink now, but should last for years to come."
