Lot Essay

Serge Marshennikov is an internationally acclaimed artist famous for his intricate rendering of fabric and meticulous detailing. Lots 350 and 358 are fantastic examples of the artist's signature style. Marshennikov studied at the prestigious Repin Academy of Fine Art in St. Petersburg where he was one of the most talented graduates. He exhibited at the Artists' Union Gallery and various international galleries. His works are in private collections all over the world.
