Lot Essay

Anatoliy Shapovalov graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Art in 1974 and became a member of the Ukrainian National Union of Artists. He participates in regional and international exhibitions and is well known for his engaging and touching scenes of ballerinas, of which lots 399 and 406 are wonderful examples.
