Lot Essay

These works are designs for the cover of the 1984 edition of the book Earth abides, by George R Stewart, first published in 1949. The book is a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel which won the International Fantasy Award in 1957. The IFA's were a pre-cursor to the Hugo Award.
