Landscape

Yi Sangbom was born in Gongju and graduated from Seo Wha Art Institute in 1918. He was a reporter for Dong Ah Il Bo from 1927 to 1937 and taught art at Hong-Ik University from 1950 to 1961. His paintings were exhibited at the World House Gallery, New York, in 1958. In 1977, his work was celebrated in the exhibition "100th anniversary of Chongjon's birth" at the Ho-Am Art Museum (Leeum Samsung Museum of Art), Seoul.
