A PALE GREEN JADE FIGURE OF A HORSE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The horse is carved in a recumbent position with the head turned back. The head has pricked ears either side of a triangular forelock that leads to the long, finely incised, split mane. The stone is smoothly polished and is of an even grey-green tone with some paler inclusions and darker mottling.
