A SMALL PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE MOUNTAIN-FORM BRUSH REST
18TH/19TH CENTURY
One side is carved in high relief with a deer standing with head turned to look at a crane perched in the branch of a pine tree, while on the reverse, flowers grow from rocks. There are two curved notches in the edges to support brushes. The semi-translucent stone is of even tone.
3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) wide, wood stand
