A WHITE JADE BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Of flattened baluster form, the vase is carved in low relief on both sides with the 'Three Friends of Winter' (pine, bamboo and plum), beneath a pair of reticulated phoenix-form handles flanking the neck, carved with a pair of dragons confronting a shou roundel, which is similarly repeated on the domed cover below a lion-form finial.
9¼ in. (15.5 cm.) high, fitted green jade stand
