A PALE GREENISH-WHITE AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
1800-1900
The bottle is of flattened rectangular form, and carved on one side with Wang Xizhi holding a fan seated beside a goose beneath a willow tree, and on the flat reverse, which is highlighted by the russet skin, with a tiger seated beneath a pine tree.
2 9/16 (6.5 cm.) high, jadeite stopper and bone spoon

Acquired in Washington, D.C., in the early 1970s.
