DAOGUANG SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each dish is decorated in the center with the 'Three Friends of Winter' (pine, prunus and bamboo) accompanied by lingzhi. The exterior is decorated with a continuous scene of a lady in a garden watching two boys at play.

A similar Daoguang-marked dish, from the Simon Kwan Collection, is illustrated in Imperial Porcelain of the late Qing, Chinese University, Hong Kong, 1983, no. 15; and another from the Addis Bequest in the Victoria and Albert Museum, is illustrated by R.
