A TWO-TIERED HUANGHUALI PICNIC BOX, TIHE
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The picnic box, of rectangular form, has a narrow cover and two trays set on a base frame flanked by standing spandrels. The box is joined at the top by a rounded square handle. The cover, base frame, trays and handle are reinforced by brass mounts.
8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) high, 11 7/8 in. (30.1 cm.) wide, 7½ in. (19 cm.) deep
