A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE JARS AND COVERS
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Each ovoid jar is decorated on the body with floral sprays between wide blue-ground lappet bands. The short neck and a thin ring at the top of the vase is unglazed to accommodate the small, low-domed cover that is decorated with a central lotus medallion above a chevron band.
