The compressed globular body and tall neck are decorated with a bold design of leafy chrysanthemum scroll set between diaper borders, above a band of leaf tips encircling the spreading foot.

A very similar vase, from the collection of Leonard Gow, is illustrated in the catalogue of The International Exhibition of Chinese Art, London, 1935-36, no. 1800.
