A RARE SMALL BLUE AND WHITE SEAL PASTE BOX AND COVER
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Of compressed circular form, the box is decorated with a band of overlapping petals above the foot and a narrow ruyi border at the mouth. The well-painted, flat cover is decorated with a dense peony meander bearing six equally spaced flowers.
