QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The interior is painted in a rich doucai palette with a sceme of two cranes with tallies in their beaks, flying amid auspicious clouds above a pavilion rising from turbulent waves, all below a band of ruyi heads below the rim. The exterior is painted with stylized foliate scroll incorporating flowerheads, peaches and bats.
7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) diam.
