QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The compressed body, spreading foot, waisted neck, and out-turned, petal-molded mouth rim are carved with bands of overlapping chrysanthemum petals with incised details. The neck is flanked by a pair of openwork leaf scroll handles, and the vase is covered with a glaze of pale sea-green color that pools in the recesses.
