A COPPER-RED-DECORATED 'SANDUO' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl has deep rounded sides that rise to a slightly everted rim, and is decorated in underglaze red of soft crushed strawberry tone with the 'Three Abundances', peach, pomegranate and persimmon, that are reserved on a ground of slight blue-green tone.
6 in. (15.2 cm.) diam.
