A COPPER-RED-DECORATED BLUE AND WHITE VASE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The globular body is raised on a spreading foot encircled by a ruyi band, and is painted in copper red with a broad frieze of composite flower scroll above a band of petal lappets and below a ruyi collar, all between double line borders in underglaze blue. The neck is painted with a wide band of stylized foliate arabesques below a trefoil band at the mouth rim. The whole supported on a splayed foot painted with a decorative border.
