A TEADUST-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER IMPRESSED SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The body of compressed pear shape is supported on a slightly splayed foot and rises to a tall, cylindrical neck. It is covered overall in an even, speckled dark green glaze that thins to a dark brown at the rim and the foot.

A similar vase, of slightly larger size, is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and is illustrated by R. Kerr in Chinese Ceramics.
