A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE VASE

The attenuated ovoid body is decorated on one side with a scene of a high official flanked by female attendants being presented with a court headdress, and an inscribed scroll, below the Hehe Erxian standing on an outcropping of rock and Shoulao seated on a crane on the neck. The reverse is decorated with the Eight Daoist Immortals and Liuhai with his three-legged toad. The neck is flanked by a pair of blue dragon handles.
