The domed lid surmounted by an Imperial eagle above a waisted neck with military attributes, the ovoid body painted with a scene depicting Napoleon receiving the Queen of Prussia at Tilsitt, within a gilt embossed acanthus cartouche flanked by lion mask handles with wreathed eagles, on a spreading socle and eared ormolu base cornerd by eagles
