With ormolu pinecone finial, the straight-sided mid-section painted with a broad continuous landscape of figures herding cattle in wooded landscape and travellers in the distance before ruined classical column arches, Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, within ormolu reeded bands, the lower part mounted with ormolu acanthus leaves and scrolls above a richly-gilt socle and spreading foot, on an ormolu square-section plinth cast with acanthus, minute scratching to blue ground
