The present picture with it's flourescent contrasts and vibrant expressive handling recalls the earlier landscape works of Crozier developed during the 1970s. His palette aligns him with contemporaries Howard Hodgkin and Terry Frost - whom he taught alongside at the Bath Academy of Art during the 60s.
Since the early 80s, Crozier has worked in studios in Hampshire and West Cork, Ireland, where his painting has flourished seeing him awarded the Premio Lissone in Milan and the Oireachtas Gold medal for painting.
